Make a backup and restore it.
Has it ever happened to you to lose hours and hours of work on a site because of a bad manipulation? That's why at Themecloud we make automatic backups every day ! But you can also create as many as you want from your Themecloud dashboard and that in one click ! And to restore them ? It's just as easy !
We advise you to always make a backup before updating your extensions, or any other sensitive manipulation. How to do it? The answer in this video!

Connect a gandi.net domain name
When you create a site on Themecloud it is deployed on a temporary URL such as monsite.dev. Once the developments are finished, you will probably want to have your own domain name such as www.monsite.com
The first step is to purchase your domain name. We recommend the provider Gandi.net, but you can also buy it from OVH, 1&1, etc. Then you need to set up the DNS as in the video tutorial below.
You don't want to take care of it? We can buy it and set it up for you! Just make the request from your Themecloud dashboard / overview and click on "buy a domain name". You can also ask us via the chat!

Create a modern and professional Wordpress website
Many of you ask us questions about web design on the support chat. We do our best to help you, but unfortunately we can't answer all the requests because it doesn't concern hosting directly. Laurent, CEO of Themecloud has created a free 15 hour course to create a modern and professional website on WordPress using the Elementor page builder. You just have to register on the platform openclassrooms.com to view the videos.
This page will be regularly updated with new video tutorials. Don't hesitate to leave us a comment with the tutorials you would like to see!
